Due to the demands of Ozzie's training needs, we have decided to take a break from fostering until he is up to speed with some basic skills that need a little work. However, I'm still volunteering and processing applications with Pawfect, and I have a couple "Adopt Me" bandannas on standby for the moment we're ready to take in another needy dog!
In the meantime, I encourage you to take a look at the List of Animals or Petfinder Listings at Pawfect Match. If you're local to the Raleigh, NC area, you can also check out Wake County Animal Center (Ozzie's Alma Mater); they are always full of great adoptables in desperate need of homes, and they have cats and rodents too. Last but not least, there is the SPCA of Wake County (Brugge's Alma Mater); they also have cats and rodents in addition to dogs. Between these three, you should be able to find the dog for you, at least in the Raleigh, NC area! They all offer different adoption processes, and all are great organizations run by dedicated, caring, and hardworking people. Don't shop, ADOPT! :)
